The Chamber Music Society of Mississauga welcomes internationally acclaimed violinist Andrew Sords and CMSM Artistic Director and pianist Cheryl Duvall to open another season of 3rd Wednesdays at Maker’s Stage.
Longtime collaborators, Andrew and Cheryl have been making music together for 16 years, developing an expansive shared repertoire and a musical partnership marked by virtuosity, spontaneity, warmth, and an unmistakable connection on stage.
For this special lunchtime concert, the duo will dip into some of their favourite works from across those 16 years together. Expect a lively and varied hour of music showcasing the expressive range of violin and piano, from dazzling virtuosity and soaring lyricism to intimate musical conversations.
With so many years of repertoire under their belts, there are plenty of favourites to choose from! Just two days later, Andrew and Cheryl will reunite to open CMSM’s 2026–27 Signature Series on September 18, offering audiences another opportunity to hear this longtime musical partnership in a different program.
