CMSM 2026–27 Signature Series
Pay What You Wish | Suggested $10–$50
Internationally acclaimed violinist Andrew Sords joins CMSM Artistic Director and pianist Cheryl Duvall to open the Chamber Music Society of Mississauga’s 2026–27 Signature Series.
Longtime collaborators, Andrew and Cheryl have been making music together for 16 years, building an expansive shared repertoire and a musical partnership defined by virtuosity, spontaneity, warmth, and an instinctive connection on stage.
For this special opening concert, the duo will draw from some of their favourite works from across those 16 years of collaboration. The program showcases the expressive range of violin and piano, moving from dazzling virtuosity and soaring lyricism to intimate musical conversation.
Their years of performing together have created a partnership rooted in trust, curiosity, and a shared love of bringing great music to audiences. This opening-night performance offers a chance to hear two longtime collaborators revisit beloved repertoire while celebrating the beginning of a brand new CMSM season.
