Arparla and Elixir Baroque Ensemble – July 29, 2026 – 7:30 PM

Riverwood Conservancy – MacEwan Barn, 4150 Riverwood Park Lane, Mississauga

Free – Bring your own lawn chairs

A brilliant program illuminating music from North Italy during the Baroque, from Marco Uccellini, through Legrenzi and Venice’s most famous composer Vivaldi. Arparla, the duo of Davide Monti (violin) and Maria Christina Cleary (harp), hailing from Italy and Ireland are proud owners of a Canadian canoe which they have rowed on the canals of Venice! Arparla join up with the Elixir Baroque Ensemble – Valerie Gordon (violin), Michelle Odorico (violin), Elyssa Lefurgey-Smith (violin), Matt Antal (viola), Felix Deak (cello), Danial Lalonde (bass) – for a match of musical wit. Come and hear music never heard in North America and enjoy a Venetian breeze during the long summer.

In the event of inclement weather, our rain venue will be Erin Mills United Church – 3010 The Collegeway, Mississauga. We will share this info by 2 pm the day of the concert.

With thanks to The City of Mississauga, Ontario Creates, The Mississauga Foundation, The Music Performance Trust Fund, TMA Local 149 and our partners at The Riverwood Conservancy and Visual Arts Mississauga for generously supporting this concert.
