This dynamic trio brings together three of Canada’s most celebrated voices in contemporary jazz and creative music.
Vibraphonist Michael Davidson is known for his genre-defying artistry, moving fluidly between jazz, free improvisation, and contemporary composition. Praised by The Jazz Journal for music that is “sensuously immediate yet structurally rigorous,” Davidson collaborates widely across the international jazz scene and co-founded the innovative label Elastic Recordings.
Saxophonist Allison Au, a JUNO Award-winning composer and performer, has become one of Canada’s most compelling jazz artists. With four acclaimed albums and numerous honours—including the Montreal Jazz Festival TD Grand Prix de Jazz—her music is celebrated for its lyricism, imagination, and expressive depth.
Bassist Dan Fortin, a co-leader of the internationally touring trio MYRIAD3, is one of Canada’s most versatile musicians, performing across jazz, rock, and pop with artists including Ethan Iverson, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Serena Ryder, and July Talk. He also teaches at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music.
Together, these three artists create music that blurs the boundaries between composition and improvisation, weaving rich textures, rhythmic interplay, and spontaneous creativity into an unforgettable live experience.
✨ Take a break in the middle of your day and join us for an hour of vibrant live jazz in the heart of Mississauga.
